Shared Information (2019)

From Jane Myers Maupin:

Well not earth shattering, but Dave and I turned 80 in 2018.  We enjoy good health (more or less) will celebrate 60 years of marriage in 2020. Continue to walk, do yoga, lift weights and Dave has taught himself Tai Chi.

We are enjoying our retirement and "living out out lives in quiet" contemplation.

From Sandra Wright Due:

Dee, thank you for passing these sad but happy news. Happy because they are, hopefully, going to a better place. And, for some of us that left Richmond not too long after we graduated, it is nice to know about the lives of our classmates! Each and everyone has used God’s special gifts, from Doctors to Businessmen to Pastors to Soldiers to Teachers to Housewives and on and on. I am so proud of them all. I worked in the medical field and later for Webster University for 15 years. In between, I was an Army wife for 23 years, raised 3 sons and moved 22 times. We now live in Atlanta area, and have 7 grandchildren and 3 ggrandchildren. Not good health, but in good spirits! Wish we all could know about each other before our obituaries come out!

Most of our grandchildren are grown except for a 15, 17, and a 9 year old. That last one is why we moved from our home in San Antonio, TX to Suwanee, GA three years ago. Raegan, our dear little granddaughter (from son’s 2nd marriage) kept calling us at 5 or 6 am saying, “I learned to use the phone and it ‘s opened a whole new world for me!” “Please move to GA!” So we did. Have loved being part of her life. Most of grand  & ggrand live in Ohio. But those 3 ggrands are so cute! Their Mom brings them to visit! They run in for hugs!

From Helen Silvette McIver:

Anything good?  Anne Goodman Wilcox is doing great in every way.  Margaret Eubank celebrated her 80th birthday with friends and family (Anne, Jonas and Kathy, and Beth Weaver Luck went and Margaret’s family.  All seems well per Anne.)  I personally have no dread disease YET.  Horrible arthritis, but shots and surgeries save the day.  Good for me:  I have my 20 pet cats no one would want and my one little rescued dog I worship.
