This is happy: Louis, my ex. Turned 80 and I took him, his wife and a few other family members to lunch to celebrate. Did hear recently from Louis Blair. Other than dealing with the radiation on his neck, he says he is doing well. |

From Tyler Garrett: ?The sun is shining. Happy trails. |

From Ann Colman Serwitz: I did know Walter. When Marshall had taught me how to play bridge (during our courtship), we looked for people who would play with a rank beginner. I had a good friend, who was Walter’s good friend (we all went to TJ, by the way) and she talked him (I think she had to) into playing bridge with us at our new apartment. He was an expert player and we were fascinated. When the cards were bid, before play began, he could tell which cards were in whose hands!!!!! AMAZING!!!! BRILLIANT!!! Very fond memories….. |

From Diana Lea Sowards: If I get any good news about a grant I think Friends of Burma may be getting, I will email you and you can use that as good news. |
|
From Jo Stutz: In spite of health issues, good news is that I am positive about getting better with prayers and positive thoughts. |
|
From Emory Anderson’s wife: I had texted his cell phone to get an updated email address; she called me to let me know that Emory has some serious health issues and could not respond. We chatted a while about their lives, and I found that although they had met many years ago, they each went their separate ways at the time. Then they met again many years later, and only then married. She is now his caregiver. |

From Dewey Powell: Kay and I celebrated our 60th anniversary March 1st and had all three of our children in town to help celebrate. In actuality it should be celebrated as our 63rd as we went steady for 3 years while at TJ. |
