From Russell Flammia:

Hi all, glad to hear from you.  FYI, while tutoring a student last May in the TJ library, I got a call from a lady alums looking to contact the guy who took her to her prom.  I asked her, 'What year did he take you to the prom?'She replied--1938. ? Enjoy!

From Polly Thompson Marshall:

I also joined the ranks of now 80 yrs olds, on Jan 9, and had a most wonderful BD extended weekend celebration at Wintergreen with all four children and their spouses. They really did amazing things to make it memorable and so very special.

Robert Marshall (TJ , 1955) and I will celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary on June 24, and we continue to be very involved in the lives of our seven “perfect” grandchildren,  five girls and two boys, ranging in age from 14 to 29 yrs old identical twin girls.

We moved back to Richmond in 2008 to be close to our two daughters and five of our grands. Three have graduated from  college now, and two are currently in college, one is in high school and one in middle school, the youngest two live in Northern VA.

We enjoy a very active lifestyle in the 55 and over active Seniors gated community we downsized to in Glen Allen close to Richmond , and enjoy seeing TJ friends who live here, frequently socialize with Marianna and Scott Broaddus who live 5 minutes away. We will be going out with our monthly dinner group this Sat evening, members are Tish (Griffin) and Bob Deal, Kay (Christian) and Jim Hunter, Mary (Turner) and Henry Willett, most were TJ classmates.

Life is good and we feel very Blessed. Keep in touch and would love to hear from any of you.

We have one daughter who lives in Pa. with two grand kids who are the apple of our eyes. Fortunately we are both in very good health with only a few aches and pains. . Tyler Garrett, Nathan Turbeville, Scott Broaddus, John Burgess, Archie Marks, Jack Marshall, Louis Best, and I meet once a month for lunch. We lost Pepper Laughon in November, one of our founding members.  We were all the original members of the Richmond Road Saints hot rod club.  Nathan (Nat) and I are still racing sports
