others having graduated from U. of Toronto (3), U of Mary Washington (1), Cal Lutheran (1), and one completing post-grad work at U of Chicago.  However!  I’ll bet we’re the only ones with TWO great - granddaughters (4 & 2 years)!

Our children see to it that Ron and I remain very active — thus enabling us to remain in “reasonably” good health even though Ron had a heart valve transplant a few years ago!

From Louis Blair:

Suzanne Sessoms Blair and I enjoy living on a farm with cows, horses, dogs, and guinea fowl on a dirt road in the Shenandoah Valley. We welcome TeeJay pals to stop by or at least send e-mail. We've seen Margaret Eubanks, Alice Kent Roye, Chris and Sedley Hassel, and Martin Ganderson recently.

Some health problems - comes with the age but no mobility impairments. Our exciting news: Suzanne is looking for a new horse to ride!

      Y'all come, you hear now?

From Carolyn Carino Hicks:

Well, the good news is, I’m sitting in our condo in Florida ( never thought I would become a “snowbird”!)??. The bad news is I’m sitting here with a broken shoulder/arm!  My Birkenstocks sandals got hung on my bike as I was getting off!  80 years and my first broken bone!

Bob and I love to travel and drove all over Spain and Portugal last summer. ( the road tolls are tricky in Portugal). Fell in love with Barcelona.

When we get back to Va. in a few weeks, we’ll be putting our Nags Head beach cottage on the market.  We have enjoyed it for many years, but I’m tired of being the handyman.  Always something to fix!

Anyway, back to sitting on the couch and healing....thank goodness for March Madness!

From Louis Salomonsky & Helen Silvette McIver:

Married Helen Silvette before we went to UVA.  Both completed degrees there. After 6 years, they had four sons Stephen, Mark (named for Mark Germain), Benjamin, and Daniel.  Eventually, divorced and each remarried.  Louis and his wife Anita (retired medical doctor) have been together for about 45 years.  Helen’s husband Bob died many years ago.
